Automatic Crash Response
If you have a crash, in-built sensors automatically connect you to an OnStar Advisor, who’ll pinpoint your location even if you don’t know yourself and check if you’re okay. If you don’t reply, the Advisor will contact emergency services2 immediately and stay on the line with you until help arrives.
SOS red button
One push of the SOS Red Button connects you straight to an OnStar Advisor, who’ll contact emergency services if you, your passengers or someone else on the road needs help. And your Advisor will stay on the line with you until help arrives.
If you run out of petrol, get a flat tyre or have a breakdown, we can help3. Simply push the blue OnStar Button and talk to an Advisor, who’ll identify your location and send help to get you moving again.

If you have an accident, we can call the person you chose as your emergency contact. Please go to your account to check all your contact details are up-to-date.

STOLEN VEHICLE ASSISTANCE
If your car is stolen, report it to the police and get a crime reference number. Then call us and we can help recover it safely. If a thief switches off the engine, we can stop it from being re-started. And if you opted in to receive them, we’ll send you an SMS or email Theft Alert1 if we think your car has been stolen.

You can connect up to seven devices with Wi-Fi1, so everyone in the car can do their own thing. You can stream music, enjoy audiobooks and listen to podcasts while you drive. Your passengers can also watch TV and films, check emails, play games or use their favourite apps.

You can give your car a health check with OnStar Vehicle Diagnostics. And if you’re not sure where you parked, our Find My Vehicle service will help.
Before you start your journey, it’s a good idea to make sure your car is road ready. With OnStar Vehicle Diagnostics, you can check oil and fluid levels, brakes, electrics, tyre pressures and other key systems so you can relax when you drive.
You can ask an Advisor for a Diagnostics check at any time, simply by pressing the blue OnStar Button. And we’ll send you a monthly report so you’re always up-to-date. We’ll even contact you if our Advanced Vehicle Diagnostics pick up a change in your car’s condition. That way, you can get it looked at right away.
